ABOUT THE NEWORKX FOUNDATION

WHO WE ARE

The NEWORKX FOUNDATION exists to remove financial and access barriers that prevent people from gaining job-aligned skills and achieving long-term economic mobility. We focus on short-term, skills-based pathways that connect training to real employment outcomes. Our role is to fund access, reduce barriers, and support structured pathways to work—not to operate as a job board or a direct service provider.

WHY WE EXIST

Across many industries, employers need skilled workers, while capable people remain stuck due to cost, access, and gaps in the system.

The challenge is not motivation or ability; it is affordability, coordination, and clarity.

People are often blocked by:

A lack of clear pathways from training to employment

The NEWORKX FOUNDATION exists to help close these gaps.

WHAT WE FOCUS ON

Classroom

JOB-ALIGNED SKILLS THAT SUPPORT ECONOMIC MOBILITY

We support short-term, job-aligned training that leads to industry-recognized credentials and real employment pathways.

Training pathways are prioritized based on:

  • Alignment with hiring demand

  • Clear connections to employment

  • Completion and outcome potential

Focus areas include skilled trades, healthcare support, logistics, technology, and other middle-skill careers.

REMOVING BARRIERS TO COMPLETION

Many people do not stop because of effort—they stop because barriers get in the way.

The NEWORKX FOUNDATION removes barriers in two ways:

  • Funding access to training, certification, testing, and required equipment

  • Helping individuals identify and access wraparound services that support training completion

The Foundation does not provide wraparound services directly. Instead, we work with workforce partners, community organizations, and service providers to help individuals identify and connect to supports such as:

  • Transportation assistance

  • Childcare and caregiving resources

  • Work tools, uniforms, and digital access

This approach helps participants complete training and move forward along a structured pathway to employment and economic mobility.

WORKING WITHIN THE WORKFORCE ECOSYSTEM

The NEWORKX FOUNDATION does not operate in isolation.

We work alongside:

  • Training providers and technical schools

  • Employers with active hiring needs

  • Workforce development organizations

  • Community-based partners

Our role is to align funding, access, and pathways so training leads to real opportunity—not dead ends.

HOW WE MEASURE SUCCESS

We focus on outcomes—not participating.

We measure success by:

  • Training completion

  • Credentials earned

  • Job placement and retention

  • Reduction of financial and access barriers

As the Foundation grows, outcome summaries will be shared to support transparency and accountability.
